Moss plans to join his teammates on the practice field this week to test the injured hand that has sidelined him the past four games. “I’m just gonna go out there and practice and hope it feels the way I want it to feel,” Moss said. “And if it’s good to go, I’ll keep practicing for the week. I don’t know how it’s going to go. I’m not trying to get too crazy about it. I’m just gonna take it day by day.”

Moss shattered a bone near his index finger at Carolina on Oct. 23. He had surgery on his hand and team officials initially said he could miss as many as seven weeks. Moss always aimed to return sooner and last week HC Mike Shanahan said it was possible that Moss would be available for this Sunday’s game at Seattle. Before he broke the bone, Moss had 301 yards on 25 catches.
