Although Smith was originally diagnosed with a hamstring injury, an MRI revealed a torn meniscus in his knee. Smith has played in nine games this season, starting seven, and is second on the team in catches with 48 and third in receiving yards with 529. With Smith definitely out and Mario Manningham's (hip) outlook this week pessimistic, Hakeem Nicks could be a busy man against the Eagles.
