The Facts:
Johnson had been the Lions' No. 3 receiver all season and was getting a lot of playing time but averaged just one catch for the first nine games. Johnson was a healthy scratch for Sunday's game and was placed on the inactive list.

Second-year receiver Derrick Williams took the place of Bryant Johnson and got a lot of playing time in the three-receiver set but didn't have a pass thrown his way. "We needed more production out of that third wide receiver spot and we haven't been getting it. We shuffled the deck a little bit and gave Derrick an opportunity,' HC Jim Schwartz said. Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson each had 10 passes thrown their way, and tight end Brandon Pettigrew was targeted nine times.
