ongoing story. ... According to Nashville Tennessean staffer Jim Wyatt, source says there was a verbal confrontation between Young and HC Jeff Fisher in locker room. In the wake of that confrontation, Wyatt predicts: "Young is done for the Titans this season, injury or not. I don't think he ever plays for Fisher again."

Apparently Young, unhappy that he wasn't allowed back in the game, was muttering expletives under his breath as Fisher gathered the team in the locker room following today's overtime loss to Washington. Fisher told Young to quiet down while Young dressed then headed for door. Fisher told him not to run out on his teammates and Young responded by telling Fisher "I'm running out on you. ..." Young then stormed out locker room as more words were exchanged with Fisher. ... Again, we'll suggest there's more to come. Remember, Young has a torn tendon in his right thumb and might need surgery. But that apparently won't be the determining factor in Rusty Smith starting next week.
