The Facts:
The AC joint in his right shoulder is still causing him major discomfort and he had to leave the field three times Sunday. But he didn't miss more than one play on any of those occasions.

In fact, he was dinged up on the second-down play of the Lions' game-winning scoring drive. His 9-yard reception gave the Lions a third-and-1 at the 10. He sat out of the third-down play, an incomplete pass, then returned for the fourth-down play, catching a pass from QB Matthew Stafford between two defenders in the end zone. Johnson, bad shoulder and all, had nine catches for 101 yards and a career-high three touchdowns. Each touchdown put the Lions on top and the last one gave them the win. "Calvin again battled through a game where he wasn't 100 percent," HC Jim Schwartz said. "He had to leave a couple of times, but he shook it off quickly and was able to get back. ..." The issue shouldn't keep anybody from starting Johnson, but it's certainly worth noting. We'll follow up as needed.
