The official announcement from the Lions is that Hill has a left arm injury and will not return. Drew Stanton is filling in today. The Lions have a bye next week and Matthew Stafford is expected to be ready to return from his injured shoulder in time for the team's Week 8 game. Sounds like they'll need him.
