The Facts:
Though there is widespread belief that Smith and team president Dean Spanos might squeeze Jackson and increase trade compensation demands, an unnamed general manager told NFL.com's Steve Wych this week that he thinks Jackson will get moved by the Oct. 19 deadline.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Per Wyche, the GM's thinking is that over the next few weeks, some teams with playoff aspirations could suffer an injury or injuries at wide receiver and offer up the multiple high-, mid-range picks San Diego wants. Wyche, however, tossed out another scenario: The Chargers might sustain an injury at wideout or realize that they're not quite as good as they could be with Jackson. They are 1-2 after all. Could things be bridged or has this gotten too personal for the Chargers? Stranger things have happened.
