After Garrett Hartley missed two kicks in the season-opening victory over the Vikings, HC Sean Payton said that a year ago he would have had tryout options in the next day kicking for a chance to make the roster. But after shanking a 29-yard try in overtime that would have lifted the Saints over their NFC South rivals the Falcons Sunday, Hartley seems to be facing the prospect of having a veteran on the roster with him -- assuming he remains.
