The Facts:
According to New Orleans Times-Picayune staffer Jeff Duncan, Marques Colston will start training camp on the PUP list after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery on his left knee to correct a "lingering problem" during the offseason.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It is not known exactly when Colston had the knee scope but GM Mickey Loomis insists it's "nothing serious ..." Colston should be able to pass his physical soon and participate in training camp. This is not considered a major problem -- at least in the short term. ... Worth noting, fellow WR Robert Meachem will also open training camp on the PUP list -- but his status was expected after undergoing previously disclosed toe surgery. ... We will, of course, follow the progress of both men closely in coming weeks.
