The animosity between Johnson and the Titans is beginning to thaw according to Michael Lombardi of NFL.com. Lombardi believes a long-term deal will be done by the time training camp starts later this month.

Johnson, didn’t take part in any of the team’s 14 organized workouts this offseason, is working on his rookie contract and wants a new deal. Considering he's scheduled to earn $550,000 this year, his desire in understandable. While Lombardi suggests a long-term deal will be done, others aren't so sure. Profootballtalk.com Mike Florio believes a deal will be worked out, but we predict it will be a short-term, face-saving deal that gives Johnson more money but not the kind of cash that he'll eventually get when he signs a long-term deal. ...
