Cowboys Not Looking To Deal Marion Barber?
(3/30 3:45 PT)

The Facts:
The speculation surrounding whether the Cowboys are shopping Barber is just that. Multiple team sources said Tuesday that the Cowboys haven't discussed trading Barber, who is coming off two injury-filled seasons where he failed to rush for more than 1,000 yards.  Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The NFL Network reported Monday that NFL executives have said Barber is available via trade and Yahoo's Charles Robinson has speculated on the same possibility over the last two days. ... Barber is scheduled to get a $4 million roster bonus and a $3.8 million base salary in 2010. If the Cowboys trade Barber, another team would have to pick up that contract or try to rework the deal. As ESPN's Calvin Watkins notes, the only definitive thing about Barber has come from Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones, who said the organization has thought about starting Felix Jones.
