T.J. Houshmandzadeh Expects To Improve
(2/22 12:22 PT)

The Facts:
Houshmandzadeh, always candid in his answers, didn’t hide his disappointment in how his first season in Seattle played out during a Feb. 19 chat with NFL.com fans. “Oh yeah [it was a letdown],” Houshmandzadeh said. “I would say I was disappointed in myself, I was disappointed in the way I approached a lot of things, for whatever reason." Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Houshmandzadeh led the team with 79 receptions for 911 yards and three touchdowns but those totals were less than expected from the man who pulled in at least 90 catches in each of the three seasons before leaving Cincinnati for Seattle last offseason. But Houshmandzadeh insists last season will help him over the long run. "I learned from it, it won’t happen again," he said. "When you expect a lot and get just a little. ... I didn’t handle it well, and I learned from it. ..." We'll see. Much will depend on the health of Matt Hasselbeck and the team's plans at quarterback. Stay tuned.
