Slaton, the team’s leading rusher and second-leading receiver, missed the Texans’ Week 13 loss at Jacksonville after experiencing numbness in the tip of his right thumb. According to the team’s website, Slaton said last Friday that he did not think his injury was too serious. He visited a Dallas-area specialist on Tuesday to get evaluated. Chris Brown and Ryan Moats have seen the bulk of the action when Slaton is not in the lineup.
