The Bengals won't have the services of the NFL’s second-leading rusher for the second half of today's game against the Steelers after Benson left with a hip flexor injury.

According to the team's official web site, Benson won't return. He first left the game briefly in the first half and was clearly hurting upon his return later in the half. He's now called it a day with just 22 yards on seven carries. Bernard Scott, who has a long TD run against the Steelers, and Brian Leonard will fill in. ... Meanwhile, we'll obviously be following up on Benson's condition as needed going forward.
