Following up on a previous item. ... Johnson, less than 24 hours after taking on HCTodd Haley on his Twitter profile, maintained an edge Monday when approached by reporters in the team's locker room. On Monday in the Chiefs locker room, Johnson used a gay slur after saying he wouldn't speak to reporters.

In case you missed it, Johnson tweeted several controversial remarks directed toward Haley and the coach's lack of football experience. Johnson continued the rant, and, in later responses directed toward Johnson's Twitter followers, included inflammatory remarks about gays. You can

Haley declined to comment on the situation during he Monday press conference but the Chiefs could take action against Johnson for conduct detrimental to the team. He might also be in violation of the league's Personal Conduct Policy. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told Profootballtalk.com tonight, "We are in the process of getting the facts. ..." Stay tuned. The Chiefs are off this week but we suspect Johnson will remain in the news.
