Veteran PK Matt Stover worked out with the Colts on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he has agreed to terms. Stover will replace Adam Vinatieri, who per Adam Schefter of ESPN will miss six weeks after undergoing knee surgery.

The team subsequently confirmed that that Vinatieri has undergone arthroscopic surgery to remove a piece of cartilage from his right knee. The team says that Vinatieri is expected to miss four to eight weeks. The Colts have a bye this week.
