The Facts:
Official word on Marion Barber's injury will come later today during the Wade Phillips press conference. But it appears Barber suffered a strained quad when he went down on his 35-yard run late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss. It is not believed to be serious.

Stay tuned. ... We'll have the official word on the injury and whether or not it impacts next week's game after Phillips' press conference. But the fact that Barber remained on the sidelines instead of heading for the locker room was probably a good sign.
