Miller, who sustained the injury during the second quarter of Thursday night's 10-7 exhibition loss to the Miami Dolphins at the Superdome, said an MRI confirmed the extent of the injury. G.M. Mickey Loomis said it is possible that the team will seek another tight end for the 53-man roster over the weekend. Even if they do, it won't change the fact that Jeremy Shockey will be relied on even more heavily with Miller out.
