The Facts:
Bowe was working with the backups in practice Monday. Terrance Cooper took Bowe's place in the starting lineup. The Kansas City Star said it appeared to be a demotion.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The third-year player had looked like Kansas City's best receiving option. Bowe, a first-round pick in 2007, had 86 catches for 1,022 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He seemed like a nice option for new QB Matt Cassel. As ESPN.com's Bill Williamson suggested, the Chiefs probably want to see more urgency from Bowe in camp. For a player who caught 156 passes in his first two seasons, this has to be a wake-up call.
