Boldin has informed agent Drew Rosenhaus, the Cardinals and the NFL Players Association of plans to fire Rosenhaus amid stalled attempts to force a trade or a new contract.

Rosenhaus, who represents more NFL players than any other agent (including Boldin's brother D.J. Boldin), had tried pressuring the Cardinals into trading the 28-year-old receiver but so far, all the agent's efforts have fallen short. That, of course, has more than a little to do with the fact that Boldin, with two years remaining on his current contract, has zero leverage in the situation.
