The Facts:
The Titans have agreed to terms with former University of Tennessee return specialist Jones. The Titans had a need at the returner spot since the departure of free agent Chris Carr to the Baltimore Ravens over the weekend.

Jones is a sixth-year veteran who has played for three teams, most recently Carolina last season. He was a seventh-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2004 and also has spent time with the New York Giants. For his career he has averaged 24.2 yards on 58 kickoff returns and 9.4 yards on 156 punt returns. In 2008, the 28-year-old averaged 24.0 yards on kickoff returns and 11.4 yards on punt returns.
