According to Star-Ledger staffer Mike Garafolo, somone familiar with the team's thinking told him it's not happening. Per Garafolo: "They don't want anything to do with him. Not today. Not tomorrow. For what it's worth, Sacramento Bee staffer Matthew Barrows chimed in from San Francisco too this morning: Niners not interested either.
