Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Rosenhaus told the Cardinals last week that Boldin was open to re-signing with the team and that he would like to receiver an offer sooner rather than later, according to the source. Regarding the deadline, "I'm not sure where that story came from," the source said. As Republic staffer Kent Somers reminded readers, the deadline came from Boldin. ... All of this prompted Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio to suggest it’s possible that Boldin tried to establish a deadline of Tuesday and that the team balked, "forcing Boldin to cram the toothpaste back into the tube." That's not an illogical assumption.
