Following up on a previous item. ... Agent Mark Bartelstein said Thursday he had spoken to Cardinals GM Rod Graves by phone a couple of times this week and that the two will "probably get together next week."

As noted in the previous item, Bartelstein continues to do everything in his power to increase his bargaining power -- primarily by telling anybody willing to listen that there are options other than returning to the Cardinals or retirement. Warner, however, hasn't been doing his agent any real favors in that regard. The veteran QB will turn 38 this summer and hasn't ruled out retiring. He's also made his desire to remain in Arizona fairly clear and said for weeks that one factor in his decision will be gauging how interested the Cardinals are in re-signing him.
