Burress has been suspended by the Giants for four games and, more importantly, placed on the non-football injury list, a move that ends his 2008 season. Burress was fined an undisclosed amount and suspended for "multiple and repeated violations of club rules."

That means his season is over — regular season and playoffs. This is the second time this season he’s been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. Observers are speculating the "repeated" violations could be a reference to the fact he didn't return GM Jerry Reese's phone calls over the weekend. That would be a "repeated" offense after he didn't call the team when he skipped a meeting after the win over the Bengals. ...
