The Facts:
Burress will surrender to authorities when requested -- without a warrant -- and will address his legal issues as early as tomorrow, according to the lawyer who will be representing him, Benjamin Brafman.
Reported by the Newark Star-Ledger
Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Brafman, who visited with Burress at his area home for an hour and spoke with reporters afterward, said he has been in contact with NYPD and will speak with the New York County District Attorney's office later today. Brafman discussed the situation with Burress and said they will "responsibly address these legal issues in short order. ..." While the self-inflicted gunshot would he suffered Friday effectively puts the kibosh on his Fantasy potential this year, Burress faces a felony weapons charge that could lead to more than three years in prison. It's a big deal. Stay tuned.
