A league source tells us that the Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with Jackson. Jackson, a second-round pick in 2006, was cut by the Patriots prior to the season.

Jackson appeared in 12 games as a rookie, with one start. But he suffered a torn ACL during the playoffs, and made only a minor contribution last year. In Denver, Jackson joins a corps of receivers including Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal, Brandon Stokley, Darrell Jackson, and Glenn Martinez. Stokley missed Monday night’s game after suffering a concussion in Week 6; the decision to add Jackson could be a sign that Stokley won’t be back for a while.
