HC Dick Jauron said Monday that it is too early to tell whether Edwards, who suffered a concussion Sunday, will be able to practice this week. "We follow a routine for any of our players that suffer a concussion, so that's what we'll do with Trent," Jauron said. "We always err on the side of caution."

Jauron declined to say whether Edwards was feeling better on Monday and would not speculate if he will practice during the week. Buffalo has a bye this week and is off until it hosts San Diego on October 19. "Hopefully he'll be fine as time goes by," Jauron said. "It's a good time to have a bye."
