The Facts:
Eddie Royal left the locker room well after Sunday's game limping on crutches. Tony Scheffler, the Broncos' best receiving tight end, left the locker room limping on crutches. Royal and Scheffler likely will miss at least next week's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

X-rays were negative, but given the speed required at his position, the Post suggested Royal could miss the next two games, at home against the Jaguars and at New England the following week. Scheffler suffered a strained left groin that could be more serious. RB Selvin Young also suffered a strained groin -- but not as serious. ... Look for Darrell Jackson to come off his calf injury and bolster the receiving corps.
