Tomlinson limped off the field in the third quarter of today's game against the Dolphins apparently favoring the same turf toe that's bothered him since last month.

Although he continued to play, Tomlinson is clearly struggling and Darren Sproles is getting considerable work. Tomlinson had 10 carries for 24 yards and five catches for 22 yards with four minutes remaining in the third quarter. The Chargers don't hit the bye until Week 9 so there won't be much chance for LT to rest the tender toe until then.
