Buckhalter left Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears in the third quarter with a lower back contusion. Buckhalter was taken to the locker room for X-rays. He later returned and ran well.

Buckhalter, who started for the injured Brian Westbrook, was hurt while making a tackle on an interception return. Lorenzo Booker picked up the slack until Buckahlter's return, which is a pretty good indication the injury isn't serious and is unlikely to be an issue going forward.
