The Facts:
Misdemeanor battery charges were filed against Marshall on Sept. 10 in Fulton County, Ga., stemming from an alleged incident in Atlanta on March 4. A court date has not been set. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league was aware of the allegations in the Atlanta incident at the time it suspended Marshall, prior to the start of this season. He added that Marshall could face more disciplinary action from the league, depending on the outcome of the case.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The NFL suspended Marshall for three games for his off-field behavior, but the suspension was reduced to one game and he missed the team's opener against the Oakland Raiders. "We have been aware of these potential charges," Aiello said. "We will continue to monitor the case and review it under our policy as appropriate. ..." The good news? It appears the court date won't come before November.
