Griese will remain the Buccaneers' starting quarterback for at least one more week. HC Jon Gruden said Griese will get the nod for next Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.

Griese, who started in place of an ailing Jeff Garcia, completed 18-of-31 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-9 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. "I thought he did a nice job really. We had the one turnover late in the football game," Gruden said. "He managed the offense. He made some great decisions in the running game. We won the football game. I thought he was solid. I thought he played pretty good. ... With that said, we don't anticipate any changes at that position this week."
