Following up on a previous item. ... Bradley is wearing a brace on his right leg following the surgery and tweaked the knee on the field during voluntary off-season workouts. "Oh yeah," he said. "I'll be ready for training camp. It was just some scar tissue." The team says Bradley's return for the beginning of training camp July 23 is questionable, however.

Nonetheless, receivers coach Darryl Drake didn't seem to be in a state of panic about Mark Bradley undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee earlier this month. Drake and head coach Lovie Smith previously said Bradley had a chance to take over as the team's No. 1 receiver, with Bernard Berrian signing with the Vikings. Asked if this injury would hurt Bradley's status, Drake said, "not really."
