Commissioner Roger Goodell revealed that his meeting with Matt Walsh yielded no new information regarding the "Spygate" scandal with the New England Patriots. Walsh currently is en route to Washington, where he will meet Senator Arlen Specter on Capitol Hill some time Tuesday afternoon. Reported by The Sports Ticker

Goodell met with Walsh for 3 1/2 hours Tuesday morning, five days after the former Patriots video assistant provided the NFL commissioner with information regarding the team’s videotaping procedures. Prior to Goodell’s media address, the NFL showed clips of the eight tapes given to the league by Walsh.
