The Facts:
Scaife, the team's third-leading receiver, will miss the playoffs due to a lacerated liver suffered in last Sunday's victory at Indianapolis. The injury wasn't discovered until Monday. It will not require surgery, but Scaife cannot have any physical contact for at least six weeks.
