The Facts:
Peterson did not see the field on the Vikings' 10-play opening drive in Denver Sunday. HC Brad Childress said Peterson was disciplined because he was late for a team bus; Peterson said he was late for a team function.

Whatever the case, Chester Taylor (seven plays) and Mewelde Moore (three plays) were used instead of the Vikings' top offensive threat. "I understand," said Peterson, who gained only 11 yards on four second-half carries. "Everybody is looked at in the same way, no matter [whether you're] a starter. If you're late for something, that's the consequence. No matter if it's your first offense or [you had previous offenses]. It wasn't upsetting. ..." Unless, of course, you happened to be a Fantasy owners counting for every yard possible out of Peterson.
