More Alexander, Branch: Too Banged Up To Go
(11/12 1:19 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. ... Shaun Alexander told ESPN's Rachel Nichols on Sunday that he was too banged up and didn't expect to play. The former league MVP has dealt with a broken left wrist and sprained left ankle this season, but his twisted left knee is the injury that will keep him on the sideline. As for Deion Branch, HC Mike Holmgren told Nichols, "if it was a Super Bowl, he'd play, but he's still sore enough. Right now it doesn't seem like the way to go." Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Even though both players are listed as questionable, Holmgren all but ruled both men out during his weekly television show last night. ... Again, check back in the hour leading up to kickoff to verify that status, but those who haven't switched to alternate plans should get busy. ... By the way: The forecast in Seattle tonight calls for wind and rain.
