We will stress that the Chiefs public stance remains unchanged: Johnson suffered a mid-foot sprain and they directly deny this report. ... Stay tuned. We will continue to look for more on this report and make every effort to find corroborating evidence in as timely a manner as possible. In the short-term, of course, this report changes nothing: Johnson was already considered all but certain to miss this week's game against the Broncos. Anderson's report, however, would confirm our suspicions that the Chiefs are being less than forthcoming about the true nature of the injury.
