HC Frank Reich announced Tuesday that Luck will not practice this week as the team prepares for its third preseason game. The issue remains a matter of "full speed movement versus pain threshold."

Luck hasn't participated in any full practices since the beginning of training camp. He's dealt with a lingering calf issue for several months, and the Colts revealed during camp that he's also experiencing pain in his ankle. The team, ideally, will want to know his status for Week 1 next Monday. That'll be 13 days shy of the season opener. Remember, previous reports said there was "guarded optimisim" about Week 1.
