The Facts:
Davis was at Eagles headquarters Monday taking a physical, Andy Reid confirmed in his morning press conference. After the physical, Reid met with Davis and the former Pro Bowler then left the Complex without a contract. The Eagles said nothing is "imminent" regarding Davis.

Why Davis? Reid insisted that nothing about the current running backs caused an interest in Davis. The Eagles have actually been planning to bring in Davis for a physical and workout since training camp, Reid said. "We're going to evaluate him," the coach said. "He's a good running back. ..."
