The Facts:
Bill Parcells has expressed concern over the depth of his receiving corps. And the latest hamstring injury to Terrell Owens certainly doesn't help. So maybe that's why the Cowboys worked out Mitchell, the former Eagles receiver, on Sunday, taking a free look at a veteran with experience.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
At this point, no contract has been offered. ... Mitchell did not play last season after four years in Philadelphia. The former first-round pick played one season alongside Owens in 2004 -- and filled in nicely for Owens, who suffered an ankle injury at the end of the season that forced him out of four games, including two in the playoffs. The Eagles released Mitchell in May 2005. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs but was released in September 2005.
