The pick has led some to suggest Plummer's struggles in Denver's AFC Championship loss prompted the move. But GM Ted Sundquist insists the pick was not a reflection on Plummer. "The guy won 14 games for us," he said. "A big reason we were in the position we were in last year is because of the play of Jake. ..." True. But he was also a major reason they didn't make it to the Super Bowl.
