All this, of course, is speculative at this point. Lynch hasn't been taking part in the team's voluntary workouts and there are rumors he won't show up for a mandatory mini-camp next week. The rumors further indicate all this is related to Lynch's desire for a new contract. Lynch has said nothing and Profootballtalk.com has reported that nobody really knows what Lynch is thinking because he's not saying. Meanwhile, Rapoport advised his Twitter followers that Lynch has saved the money he's earned in the NFL and the possibility of retirement is real. “I could see him walking away,” a source told Rapoport. ... While that seems the least likely outcome at this point, we'll obviously continue to follow up and bring you further rumors -- and hopefully actual developments -- as warranted.
