The Facts:
Sproles said yesterday he hasn't been told anything about his role with the Eagles, everyone assumes a limited workload -- maybe six or eight touches a game from scrimmage.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Daily News staffer Les Bowen suggests, it seems reasonable to expect a 31-year-old to be productive used that way. Remember, Sproles is the NFL's leading receiver among running backs over the past six seasons, with 375 catches for 3,371 yards. Chip Kelly has made it clear he wants to create pass-coverage matchup problems with Sproles, whose receiving ability and 5-6, 190-pound frame call to mind former Eagles star Brian Westbrook. Sproles, who turns 31 next month, has more catches than carries in three of the last four seasons. It sounds like fantasy football owners should expect that to continue.
