NFL.com scouting report, Ebron is a highly athletic, highly productive "move" tight end loaded with upside and mismatch capability. He possesses the speed, movement skills, hands and run-after-catch skills to emerge as a playmaking weapon in the pros, though has room to continue developing as a blocker. Fortunately, the Lions have a capable enough blocker in Brandon Pettigrew. The question now, however, is how the team can make use of Ebron, Pettigrew and Joseph Fauria in an offense also boasting Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush and Golden Tate.
