As the Redzone.org noted, the Bengals desperately need a running back to former a backfield tandem with holdover Bernard Scott now that the team has jettisoned Cedric Benson. Given the Bengals history of overpaying for free agents, this would be a great place for either man to land. Green-Ellis lacks big-play ability and is not used much in the passing game but is great with ball security. Thus far he has faced a soft free agent market for his services. Stay tuned.
