Peterson had X-rays at halftime that came back negative, but he said the pain he experienced was pretty intense. “I just got my ankle caught up on a defender and it got twisted up pretty bad,” Peterson said.

Peterson said he has suffered ankle injuries before and, when they happen, he doesn’t get a lot of swelling in the area which has him uncertain about the full extent of the damage. He'll have an MRI tomorrow to determine that. “It didn’t swell up,” Peterson said. “I don’t really swell up much, but I know it’s all within the ligaments. We’ll see tomorrow.”
