Cassel, who was knocked out in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Broncos because of an apparent injury to his right hand. left the stadium with his hand wrapped, putting in doubt his availability for next Monday night’s game against the Patriots in New England.

Cassel’s availability for New England may be in doubt for much if not all of the week. “I couldn’t go back into the game,” Cassel said. “I wanted to go in but was told not to. That’s what kept me out. The medical staff will evaluate as the week goes on. I’m ready to play every day. I’ll be ready Monday night unless I’m told otherwise. ...” We'll see. Tyler Palko will get the start if Cassel can't go.
