Mike Florio points out that Manning is not healthy right now and that there is no guarantee he'll return to full health, so this statement is more wishful thinking than fact. He also points out that with the Colts now 0-10 on the year, passing along some good news, no matter how wishful, is a good idea. We would suggest that the team can start planning the transition from Manning to current Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck immediately.
